Spring time is coming up soon, and our elementary schools look forward to enrolling Kindergarten students for the 2010-2011 school year!
FTCSC Kindergarten Registration will take place Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Registration will take place at all elementary schools. Families will need to enroll at their home schools. You can download the necessary forms by clicking the link below.
The U.S. Department of Education has given us new guidelines for collecting data on race and ethnicity. Because of this we are asking all students to complete a form collecting this data.
Please log on to each individual student's Infinite Campus account to complete this form. The form will be in the student's Inbox labeled "Race/Ethnicity Update". If the student does not have a username and password please e-mail ichelp@ftcsc.k12.in.us from an e-mail account registered with the school.
Parents: Please contact your healthcare provider soon to ensure that your student is fully immunized by August 2010. An appointment card must be on file if the provider is not able to vaccinate or schedule your student prior to the start of school 2010. New students may enroll but not attend until immunization records are up-to-date.
Franklin Township Community School Corporation will be accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus school buses.
Buses may be viewed on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 8:00am-10:00am. Individuals interested in bidding on any or all of the buses need to submit a bid packet no later than Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Bids will be awarded on Thursday, April 1, 2010. Bids will be awarded to the highest bidder per bus or highest bidder per fleet. Franklin Township Community School Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Franklin Township Community School Corporation is joining with Hamilton Southeastern Schools and Middlebury Community Schools in a lawsuit against various entities of the state of Indiana in an effort to correct the school funding scheme. On Friday, March 19th, Franklin Central High School will host a dance marathon to benefit the Riley Hospital for Children. Last year, the Dance Marathon raised over $25,000. Come have fun and help us reach our goal of $30,000 this year!
